Depending on which browser and device you’re searching, you might get an error when accessing one of the library’s databases.

errorExample of an error that may appear when trying to access a database.

If this happens to you, try the following steps:

Step #1: Verify your internet connection. If it’s not a problem with your connection, continue with step #2.

Step #2: Delete cookies.

• Click on the icon next to the browser's URL bar or web address. The icon can be horizontal lines or a lock (depending on the browser used).

• Click to see the cookies stored by the page visited (in this case, the database).

• Click the trash button to delete the cookies the page stores and refresh.

Step #3: If you delete cookies and still cannot access them, contact your librarians.

• Sometimes, it is an internal problem in the database, and library staff can contact the provider to solve it.

• There are also times when the situation is related to the University’s servers, and library staff can contact the information systems staff to solve it.

• There may be some other access situation we can help you with.
